Our Programs
Costa Rica
Soccer is central to Costa Rica’s pura vida culture–everywhere we look we’ll find makeshift goals, pickup games, and fan-packed stadiums. We’ll spend 12-days focusing our time in Puntarenas, on the Pacific Coast, where we will play, train, and engage with the local community. We will also enjoy zip-lining and time on white-sand beaches. Join us to take in the stunning beauty of Costa Rica and learn about local culture while playing soccer on the coast, in the rainforest, and everywhere in between.
Peru
Peru is one of South America’s great soccer destinations and the game is especially strong in the Andes Mountains, where every turn reveals picturesque soccer fields and ancient Incan ruins. Focusing our time in the Sacred Valley, we’ll enjoy 18 days of exploration, service, and soccer. We’ll gain a rich sense of culture and history, while developing connections with the warm, welcoming people of Peru. Our experience is highlighted by a few days in the mystical city of Cusco and a spectacular train ride and hike up to Machu Picchu.
Malawi
Malawi, nicknamed “The Warm Heart of Africa,” is a tranquil, soccer-loving country in southeastern Africa. This 19-day trip features our partner Ascent Soccer, an inspiring academy using soccer to create opportunity for Malawian children. Based in the city of Lilongwe, we’ll train with Ascent's youth academy and staff, organize a social impact soccer tournament for local clubs, and explore Malawi’s vibrant capital. Towards the end of our trip, we’ll visit the tropical shores of Lake Malawi to conduct community soccer projects, relax, and enjoy an authentic safari in Liwonde National Park.
South Africa
Join Woza‘s Soccer trip to South Africa for a 21-day adventure, open to older players interested in creating lasting impact through soccer. Our program begins with introductory seminars in beautiful Cape Town and finishes in the country’s warm Zululand region where we’ll work alongside rural soccer organizations and go on safari. Through a focused leadership curriculum, we will study South Africa’s complex history, engage with local organizations using sports for social change, and culminate the experience by executing our own local impact projects.
